Plug-in Media is looking for a Storyboard Revisionist. The Storyboard Revisionist will work closely with the Director, Editor, Art Department, Animation Producer and Production Manager to deliver the second season of our broadcast animation series, Tee and Mo (20 x 7min episodes).  This Job would suit an enthusiastic individual with impeccable drawing skills and a passion for visual narrative, looking to gain experience on a long-form animated series production.

Summary of the role:

• Work closely with the Storyboard Artist, Animatic Editor and Director
• Provide new and amended drawings for existing storyboards and animatics
  Respond efficiently to notes and be able to translate revisions during storyboard review and animatic process
• Adhere to the quality and visual style of the show
• Follow proper document management requirements (i.e. file naming and storage) according to the productions guidelines
• Deliver all panels in a manner consistent with the production pipeline relevant to the Animatic Editor
• Meet all deadlines as determined by the Animation Producer and Production Manager

Person Specification

• Have excellent drawing skills
• Strong staging and composition skills
• Be able to take direction and be prepared to make changes to your work in response to constructive feedback
• Knowledge of or willingness to learn applicable software (Photoshop, Storyboard Pro)
  
• Be able to follow established designs and produce consistent work, drawn on model
  
• Must be able to create animatics from their storyboards
  
• Work well under pressure 

This is a temporary position working from 31st May to 8th October.  We expect this position will begin with remote working, and will review this as the project continues in line with current government guidance. Our office is based in Brighton, UK.
