Brighton is a vibrant coastal town only 55 minutes from London, and 35 minutes from Gatwick Airport. It's known for its creativity and thriving digital community, with so-called "geek" group meetings most nights. It is home to the original Flash on the Beach conference and award-winning user-group FlashBrighton.
There are hundreds of restaurants and bars packed into the centre of town, and, as Brighton is a popular tourist destination, there are many hotels and guest-houses to suit any budget. The nearest hotel is the super trendy myHotel although there are many cheaper options nearby. As it's out of season, you should be able to get a good deal.
