Tee and Mo: Help Our Little World

Tee and Mo are back on CBeebies with Help Our Little World, a brand new animated music video and web game about sustainability and helping the environment.
Aimed at a dual audience, Tee and Mo focuses on the special bond between young children and their parents/caregivers, and how they can work together to resolve the challenges of everyday life via imaginative play and creative problem solving.
A subject of increasing relevance for families across the UK is the environment and how to look after the planet that we all share. The environmental issues that face us are huge, and their impact is being felt everywhere. Help Our Little World contextualises these big issues with a message that the CBeebies audience can not only understand, but also feel empowered to do something about. Tee and Mo are uniquely placed to deliver a message to children and their caregivers enabling them to consider how they can best take action to have an impact together.
Help Our Little World is a catchy and high-spirited song about Tee and Mo's pro-active choice to start making small changes to their lifestyles to lead a more sustainable life. From turning off the tap when cleaning their teeth to bringing reusable bags to Mr Og's shop, it's the little things that make a big difference!
As with our hugely popular collection of other Tee and Mo songs, this eco-friendly tune is sung by BBC Radio 6 Music DJ Lauren Laverne and will feature on Chris Hawkins' show on the 28th June 2019.
Written by our very own, Dominic Minns, with help from Ellie Wyatt and Joss Peach, Help Our Little World will be proudly shown on BBC iPlayer, the CBeebies Channel and on YouTube. The song is also available on Spotify, Apple Music and Amazon Music!
To accompany the song, we also created the Our Little World game for the CBeebies website which enables players to perform, learn and model sustainable behaviours that they can apply to their everyday lives. The strength of interactive media is to engage the most active parts of our brains, and for many children, the best way to learn is by doing. The game offers a fantastic opportunity to engage kids in a direct and proactive way: swiping across the screen to patch up clothes for reuse, saving energy by tapping the lights off in Tee and Mo's jungle home, and dragging the monkey duo through the woodlands on eco-friendly bicycles.
Alongside the web game, we're delighted that Our Little World can also be accessed through the Playtime Island App, which can be downloaded and played anywhere on any iOS or Android device!
