Pirate Bunnies: World Adventures

BBC Bitesize

Join Captain Carrot and his swashbuckling crew as they sail the oceans on a quest to improve your Geography skills! Working alongside BBC Bitesize to create an educational Geography game, Pirate Bunnies: World Adventures introduces young buccaneers to essential Key Stage 1 Geography Topics:

  • Learn compass directions by guiding your ship away from storms and sharks!
  • Discover the UK by dropping capital cities onto a map and painting the Union Jack flag!
  • Experiment with weather conditions and learn about the four seasons!
  • Explore the seven oceans and continents from the safety of The Carrot Cruiser!

With bespoke animation and non-linear gameplay, children are invited to explore geographical topics at their own pace and within a vibrant environment. The game features six unique levels, and players collect coins as they play to track their progress through the game. Once they reach the end, there is a treasure chest brimming with booty to reward their hard work!

Pirate Bunnies: World Adventures was built using BBC's IVOR engine and was delivered to the BBC Bitesize website on desktop, iOS and Android devices. As a browser game, this maximizes access and allows children to wherever they are, across multiple devices.
