Big Boots Birthday Nominated for Prestigious Prix Jeunesse

We're very excited to annouce that our Tee and Mo mini musical has been nominated for the prestigious Prix Jeunesse prize.  The event, which sees the best Children's TV productions from across the world, come together to be reviewed and discussed in a festival forum will take place in Munich between 10th and 15th June this year. 

The Prix Jeunesse International Festival is the oldest children and youth television festival in the world.  Every two years it awards the best of the best in children's TV, short-form and interactive.  It attracts more than 500 children's media experts from all over the world and is a friendly and collaborative environment in which to discuss kids' content production in a global context.  The cutest award is the Heart Prize where all participants add a little red heart sticker to the name of the show that has won their heart - a truly emotional response.

Big Boots Birthday was aired on CBeebies in 2020 and is nominated within the Up to 6 Fiction category, alongside some very tough competition which include other CBeebies shows, Jo Jo and Gran Gran and Bluey.  There are shortlisted entries from broadcasters and production companies across the globe including Ukraine, South Korea, Norway, Iran and Columbia.

This isn't our first time on the shortlist and Plug-in has previously won awards for our Octonauts website and Tee and Mo song, Are We Ready to Go? However, it's likely that we'll be meeting our toughest competition yet in 2022!
