PLATFORM GAME FOR BLUE PETER

We made Turkish Bizarre to promote Blue Peter’s 2009 Summer Expedition to Turkey.  The game’s compelling upward scrolling platform format features four different exotic levels from the dark caves of Catalhoyuk to a high bridge across the Bosporus.  Choose a presenter and start the race: avoid the rising perils and collect as much Turkish Delight as you can!  Of course there are a few Blue Peter badges to uncover too…

After multiple plays in the office, we concluded the game was too hard so we brought in a group of 7 and 8 year olds to test it.  When we discovered they finished it in one go we found we had to increase rather than reduce the difficulty level instead!  We must have got it right – the game’s rarely seen outside of the CBBC’s top rated!

And the team was generously rewarded with a Blue Peter badge for their efforts!
